Welcome to Studio PFP!

I am a fine art photographer with a love of black and white photography. I love to work in black and white because of the timeless quality it gives to the images I produce.

Born in Panama, I have travelled extensively and lived in the USA, India, England, Colombia. Argentina, Spain and Mexico. My work has been exhibited in New York, Miami, New Orleans, Paris, London and Buenos Aires.

Several of my vintage black and white art nudes were selected for the Julia Louis Dreyfus film "You Hurt My Feelings" that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

I am currently working on new projects exploring the relevance of the art nude to contemporary society, seeking to move beyond the “male/female gaze” dichotomy to an integrated humanist vision. In addition to my figurative photography, I also have an interest in visual anthropology, stimulated by Claude Levi-Strauss and his classic work “Tristes Tropiques.”

I have conducted many figurative/art nude workshops in the USA (Washington D.C, Miami, New York, New Orleans) and in Europe (Spain, Portugal).

My photographs are made using both digital and film cameras and different bodies depending on the subject and location: Leica rangefinders / Canon / Hasselblad 503C.
